Hypochlorous acid (HOCl) is a powerful antibacterial and virucide agent<\/strong>, naturally produced by the white blood cells in mammals. It plays a major role in our immune system by eliminating pathogens from our body through oxidation and chlorination and is safe for humans, animals and the environment<\/strong>. It is not irritating to the skin, respiratory tract or eyes. It does not discolour textiles either.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It can be produced by electrolysis from the mineral salts in the water and is an ideal disinfectant, 70 times more effective than sodium hypochlorite<\/strong> (chlorine bleach). Moreover, it does not require rinsing<\/strong>, as it returns naturally to its mineral salt state.
